We are proud to announce that Boy's and Girl's Basketball games will be available live on-line (but won't be available after).  Concerts will be live on-line, as well as uploaded to be viewed later.  Elementary concerts will be uploaded for viewing ASAP after the event.

Important Property Tax Law Change

The 2011 Legislature repealed the Homestead Residential Market Value Credit and replaced it with a new program called the Homestead Market Value Exclusion. This change is impacting the property taxes on all homesteaded and non homesteaded property for Pay 2012. 

Why did my taxes go up?

1. Homestead Market Value Exclusion-this is a change in legislation-see links below for more information.
2. Pelican Rapids Public School ventilation improvements at the High School; this tax will be spread over all property owners including seasonal recreational. Click Here for More Details
   
3. Pelican Rapids Public School referendum; this tax will be spread over referendum market value and is not affected by Homestead Market Value Exclusion. $124/$100,000 property
